Art Bureau to make plays on Fakhrizadeh

Iran’s Art Bureau’s Center for Dramatic Arts has been set to produce a number of short teleplays on the late nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, who was martyred on Friday.

Kourosh Zarei, the head of the Art Bureau's Center for Dramatic Arts, told media on Wednesday that the institution plans to produce a number of teleplays of five or six minutes that would introduce the scientist.

According to the official, the script of one of the plays has been completed.

Zarei further said the Art Bureau will produce longer plays on the scientist once full information about him are available, since little is currently known about Fakhrizadeh due to the sensitive position he held.

He noted that “our duty” is to address more aspects of his personality, which are “very attractive”, citing friends of the martyr as saying that he was fond of poetry and participated in poetry readings in the Art Bureau for many years, and even held poetry events alongside his friends from poets and writers.

Fakhrizadeh, the head of the Iranian Defense Ministry’s Organization of Defensive Innovation and Research, was targeted in a terrorist attack near the capital, Tehran, on Friday.

Iranian government officials and military commanders have hinted that the Israeli regime was behind his assassination.
