The 25th Tehran Int’l Quran Exhibition has been scheduled to play host to some 300 Iranian and foreign publishers, an official affiliated to the organizing committee says.
Rajabali Salarian said 297 publishers from Iran and some other countries, including Iraq, Syria, Turkey and Lebanon have registered for the international Quranic event until Tuesday, May 23, 2017.
He also noted that only the publishers that have published at least 35 titles on Quran and Etrat in the past four years have the opportunity to display their books at the expo.
Mohammadreza Heshmati, Deputy Culture Minister, said on Monday that similar exhibitions will also be organized in 200 other Iranian cities at the same time.
Institutions active in Quranic multimedia productions will exhibit their latest works during the event.
In addition, groups of artists from Iran and other countries will also attend the exhibition to hold workshops.
The 25th Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition will be hosted by the Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (grand prayer hall) in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.
The organizers announced that it will be opened on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, slated for May 29 to June 16, 2017.
The motto of this year’s exhibition is 'Quran, Ethics and Life' and its working hours will be from 6 PM to midnight.
Iran’s culture ministry annually organizes the Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition during Ramadan.
The expo is aimed at promoting Quranic concepts and developing Quranic activities.
