Directed by Taqi Amirani, 'Coup 53' is about the 1953 US-led coup against the government of then democratically-elected Iranian Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddeq.
The film is currently being screened in movie theaters in the United States following a hiatus of few months.
According to a Friday report, more details on the screening program of 'Coup 53' in cinemas across Europe will be shortly announced.
'Coup 53' is an Iranian, American and British co-production which took a decade to be captured.
The film, which won the Audience Award at the 14th edition of Cinema Vérité, Iran’s major documentary film festival, will be available online for audience in Iran starting from January 6.
