‘Watching This Film is a Crime’ outs poster

Iranian movie ‘Watching This Film is a Crime’ has released official poster prior to public screening.

The film directed by Reza Zehtabchian, the film is to hit Iranian silver screens on Wednesday, January 6, 2021.

Produced by Mohammad-Reza Shafah, ‘Watching This Movie is a Crime’ is a political thriller about a hostage situation.

Zehtabchian’s directorial debut ‘Watching This Movie is a Crime’ centers around a religious man named Amir whose pregnant wife loses her baby after being beaten by a drunken English-Iranian man. He files a lawsuit against the man, but the perpetrator is released based on political convenience.

“All I wanted was five-minute footage in order to defend my wife and daughter later, but they didn’t cut me a break… The sound of their sirens is getting closer… They’re going to pour in here any second now…” a brief excerpt from the film reads.

Amir Aqaee, Linda Kiani, Hossein Pakdel, Mahmoud Pakniyyat, and Hamid-Reza Pegah are some of the top-notch cast members.
