‘Mina’s World’ to vie for ifva Awards

Iranian short film ‘Mina’s World’ is set to compete at ifva Awards in Hong Kong.           

Directed by Shaho Zandi, ‘Mina’s World’ will take part in the 26th edition of the event.

The film is about a young girl who breaks jail to prove her innocence, but no one accepts her.

Earlier reports said Ario Motevaqqe’s short film ‘Weekend’ and ‘The Visit’ by Azadeh Mousavi will also compete at the event.

ifva was formerly known as the Hong Kong Independent Short Film and Video Awards.

Organized by Hong Kong Arts Center, It is “an incubator for film and visual media in Asia”, an online submission platform reads.

The 2021 ifva Awards will take place on March 2-13.
