In memory of ‘Until Morning’ actress

One of the current ifilm series ‘Until Morning’ stars the late Iranian actress Asal Badiee who departed this life very soon, yet with a very inspiring story for all of us.

Besides the main story of ‘Until Morning’ series by Majid Javanmard, it could be interesting to know the real-life story of actress Badiee who plays one of the roles in the show.

Badiee studied Nutritional Sciences at the Islamic Azad University and made her professional acting debut in 1996 by performing in the movie ‘To Be or Not to Be’ directed by Kiyanoush Ayyari.

Some of the movies in which she played roles include ‘Seven Acts’, ‘From My Heart’, ‘Candle in the Wind’ , ‘Blue and Sometimes Sky Blue’, ‘Sweet’, ‘It Was at Dawn’ and ‘Tainted Hands’.

‘Until Morning’ (2006), ‘Mankind’s Land’ (2010) and ‘The Sixth Person’ (2011) are among the series in which she appeared.

The actress left this life too soon but left a legacy of kindness behind. She slipped into a coma on March 31, 2013, and was declared brain dead on April 1, 2013. Her lungs, kidneys, heart and liver were subsequently donated according to her will before death.

Many actors play in movie and series themed on deceased organ donation after death, but the heroin of our real story literally practiced what others may just preach.

May she rest in peace while her heart might be still beating in another body.
