Iranian ‘Mannequin’ wins Japanese honor

Iranian short flick ‘Mannequin’ has won an award at the Twilight Tokyo Film Festival (TTFF) in Japan.

The flick, co-written and co-directed by Ehsan Shah-Hosseini and Arad Hesari, received the award for the best artistic achievement at the first edition of the Japanese event.

The short film is about a young who experiences some strange events after receiving his wife’s present on his birthday.

Mahsa Akbari, Nima Haqiqi, Farid Shah-Hosseini, Ali Riazi, Omid Khazaee, Alireza Montazeri, Maryam Hosseinpour, Javad Heidarian, Majid Karimi, and Ali Fattahi are on the cast list of the flick.

The first edition of the TTFF, planned for online procedure, has been slated for January 2021.
