Boushehr animation festival receives int'l works

A number of 54 countries have participated in the second International Online Festival of Animation and Digital Art in the Iranian city of Boushehr.

Brazil, China, Canada, the US, India, Italy, Turkey, S. Korea and Japan are among the participant countries.

The festival, currently underway online, is screening four of the received works each night.

The screenings will wrap up in late February and the jury panel will review the works.

The closing ceremony for the last year's edition has also been postponed for 2021 over coronavirus pandemic.

Discovering talented people, creating various opportunities for those working in animation and digital art fields and Computer-Generated Imagery (CGI) are among missions of the festival, the organizers of the event say.
