The movie is a competitor at the 39th Fajr Film Festival (FFF) that starts today and will continue until February 10.
Directed and written by Hossein Darabi and produced by Mohammad-Reza Shafah, the movie is one of the Fajr runners. It had grabbed film lovers’ curiosity the most.
‘Expediency’ is a police and crime movie that narrates the events of the late 50s in Iran.
The cast of the film includes Farhad Qaemian, Vahid Rahbani, Mehdi Hosseininia, Majid Norouzi, Amir Norouzi, Mehdi Farizeh, Ali Delpisheh, and Nazanin Farahani.
The poster of ‘Expediency’ is designed by Mohammad-Mehdi Taqipour.
The Fajr Film Festival coincides with the ten-day Fajr ceremonies across Iran, marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
Since its establishment in 1982, the FFF has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.
