‘Don’t Worry’ to be screened at US fest

Iranian short flick ‘Don’t Worry’ has been selected to take part in the Athena Film Festival in the US.

Written and directed by Mana Pakseresht, the short flick will be among the competing titles at the 11th edition of the US event.

‘Don’t Worry’ tells the story of a teenager who is alone at home on her birthday due to the self-quarantine.

Though, her mother who is a nurse and is in the hospital has a surprise for the girl.

The only character of the flick is Yalda Ramzi.

The flick has already been shown at a number of global events, including the MOSCA-Cambuquira Short Film Festival in Brazil, the I Will Tell Film Festival in the UK, and the DYTIAKO International Children’s Media Festival in Ukraine.

The Athena Film Festival aims to empower women and establish their leadership by the means of screening films demonstrating women’s authority from underexplored angles.

This year’s edition of the festival will be held online in March, 2021.
