India to host ‘A Trivial Thing’

Iranian short flick ‘A Trivial Thing’ has been selected to compete at the 4th edition of the Cinevoyage Film Festival (CFF) in India.

Directed by Seyyed-Morteza Sabz-Qaba, the short film narrates the story of a young man who wishes to become an actor and play on theater stages.

Also written by Sabz-Qaba, the short film’s cast list includes Majid Ardalan and Ali Qasemi.

The 12-minute flick has already participated in a number of global film events, including the Kanyakumari International Film Festival in India, the Merida Film Festival in Mexico, the Lift-Off International Film Festival in the UK, the Venice International Film Festival in Italy, and the Alter do Chao Film Festival in Brazil.

The CFF hosts films from around the world and provides filmmakers with an opportunity to share their experiences and showcase their works.

The 2021 edition of the event will be held on February 11-13.
