Houseplants market in Mashhad in photos

One week prior to arrival of the Persian New Year, houseplants markets are busier these days.

Many of Iranians decorate their homes with colorful flowers and different species of plants in beautiful vases to welcome the New Year on the first day of spring.

The Persian New Year, known as Nowruz, is being celebrated in a number of countries around the world.
