VOD release of Iranian nostalgic films

Iran-based Farabi Cinema Foundation has released a good number of its new and nostalgic films trough TV Channels and VODs for Nowruz 1400 (2021 Persian New Year).

Based on reports, the foundation released 400 nostalgic movies from Iran’s 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s.

Films are selected from a wide range of genres and themes directed by filmmakers from different generations.

The titles will be broadcast on Filimo and Namava platforms and also from different TV Channels.

Some of the selected films that were also screened on ifilm are ‘Iraq, the Evening of the Tenth Day’, The Color of God, and The Kingdom of Solomon the Prophet.

Some other titles that will be aired are directed by famous Iranian directors including Darioush Mehrjouee, Bahman Farmanara, MajidMajidi, Ebrahim Hatamikia, Bahram Beizaee, Rakhshan Banietemad, Pouran Derakhshandeh and Tahmineh Milani.
