Tabriz gets ready for Mid-Sha’ban

The people of Tabriz have been decorating and preparing the streets of the city on the eve of Mid-Sha’ban holiday in celebration of the birth anniversary of the 12th Shia Imam.

Celebrating the birth anniversary of the 12th Shia Imam, Mohammad ibn al-Hassan al-Mahdi (AS) on the 15th of Sha’ban (the eighth month of the Islamic colander), people from the four corners of Iran are getting ready.

The Mid-Sha’ban holiday is so special and important for Iranians that we believe it is a night of forgiveness.

The local residents of Tabriz have also prepared the city to hold ceremonies for the occasion.
