Let’s watch miracle of Nazr

Iranian short film ‘Nazr’ is themed on a religious concept of the same name referring to vows conditional upon the occurrence of an event.   

In Iran, many families take their sick children to the holy shrine of the eighth Shia Imam, Imam Reza (AS), seeking God’s healing graces.

They say a votive prayer at the shrine and ask for God’s mercy upon them.

In the short film directed by Hamid Shahmoradi, a taxi driver reluctant to believe in the miracle of Nazr for healing the sick is taunting his passenger who is returning from the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS).

In the closing shot, to his disbelief, the disabled daughter of his passenger could stand on his feet against all odds.
