'Silent House' to vie in Switzerland

Iranian documentary 'Silent House' has made its way to the Vision du Reel Festival in Switzerland.

The doc directed by Farnaz Jourabchinan, is to vie at the Rough Cut section of the 2021 edition of the Swiss event.

Four documentaries coproduced by the US, Philippines, Mexico, Brazil, Cameroon, Belgium, South Africa and Iran are to vie at this section of the festival.

Produced by Elaheh Nobakht, 'Silent House' tells the story of a family in Tehran during decades.

Established in 1969, the Visions du Réel (Visions of Reality) is an internationally renowned documentary film festival and the largest Swiss documentary event. The fest is open to worldwide entries.

The 52nd edition of the festival is scheduled for April 15-25, 2021.
