Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults in Iran took an initiative to make entertainment accessible to less fortunate kids living on the edges of the Iranian capital city.
The convertible ciné-trucks belonging to the cultural institute bring along troupes and artists to remote regions across the country to present performances and cultural programs. The mobile theaters will also screen movies for the kids.
This year, under a program named the ‘Convoy of Hope’, an IIDCY cine-truck together with benevolent artists brought smiles to children.
The initiative is laudable as entertainment is no more confined to towns and cities. Now, Iranians living in very few underprivileged areas will have entertainment, information and education at their doorsteps.
