Indie Meme Film Festival to screen ‘7.5’

Iranian-Afghan feature film ‘7.5’ (Seven and a Half) has made its way to the Indie Meme Film Festival in the US.

‘7.5’ will vie at the sixth edition of the American festival.

The movie is written and directed by Navid Mahmoudi and produced by his brother Jamshid.

‘7.5’ tells the story of seven Afghan and Iranian women in seven episodes. While all of the women are getting married on the same Friday night, each is dealing with certain issues.

IMFF is a four-day festival celebrating excellent cinema, according to the event’s website.

The upcoming edition of IMFF will be held virtually in 2021, during the last two weekends of April.
