Italian fest to host Iranian ‘Dualpa’

Iranian short film ‘Dualpa’ has been selected to compete at the 15th edition of the River Film Festival in Italy.

Directed by Mohammadreza Moradi, the short film will experience its first international presence at the Italian festival.

The short film is an adaptation from Sandbad Bahri stories in the One Thousand and One Nights book.

‘Dualpa’ has previously won the best adapted screenplay award at the 38th Tehran Short Film Festival.

Also written by Moradi, the cast of the short film includes Arash Rezaee and Arash Ashadad.

The River Film Festival hosts a wide range of works from around the world and provides an opportunity for filmmakers, screenwriters and many experts to exchange experience.

The upcoming edition of the event will be held on July 1-25, 2021.
