Iranian enigmatic caravanserai in Hamedan

Tajabad caravanserai is one of the top tourist attractions of Hamedan Province in western Iran.

The caravanserai lies in a village of the same name in Hamedan and is inscribed on Iran’s national heritage list.

It has a circular shape unlike most caravansaries across Iran which are rectangular-shaped. Such architecture has the beholder feel a mystery is hidden there. 

Its unique design makes it one of the most attractive historical structures in Hamedan.
