ifilm to air new movie ‘Damascus Time’

ifilm’s new movie ‘Damascus Time’ has been scheduled to be aired on Saturday night.

The movie, directed by Ebrahim Hatamikia, is about an Iranian pilot and his son, who is also a pilot, whose plane is seized by Daesh militants in Syria while carrying a cargo of humanitarian relief supplies to people in a war zone.

The movie seeks to shed light on the reality of Daesh and what the Western media is trying to hide from the world about them.

Iranian actors Hadi Hejazifar, Babak Hamidiyan and Laleh Marzban, as well as some Lebanese actors, including Khaled El Sayed and Pierre Dagher are on the cast list of the movie.

‘Damascus Time’ brought Crystal Simorgh award for Best Director to Hatamikia at the Fajr Film Festival. The movie also won two other Crystal Simorghs for Best Composer and Best Sound Effect.

The movie, made in 2017, is scheduled to go on air at 22:00 GMT.

ifilm English will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00, and 16:00 (airtime all GMT).
