The 15th edition of the Salento Finibus Terrae Short Film Festival (SA.FI.TER) in Italy has scheduled to screen the Iranian ‘Prophets of Terror’ directed by Ahmad Khoshniyat.
The 4-minute animated piece will compete at the final round of the animation section of the event.
A combination of animation and photos, the short film is about World War II and the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki by the US army.
‘Prophets of Terror’ is scheduled to go on the festival’s screen on July 5.
The animated production also took part at the 13th edition of the Human Rights Film Festival, held in Barcelona, Spain.
The Salento Finibus Terrae Short Film Festival screens films in various sections of human rights, world short films, world children, animation and Italian short films.
The 15th edition of SA.FI.TER is slated to be held on June 29 to July 9, 2017 in the Italian city of Apulia.
