The film produced and directed by Turaj Aslani will be screened at the main competition section of the event.
Arthood Company in Germany is responsible for the international distribution of the film.
Launched in 2001, the LKFF aims to be “a powerful and influential form of artistic expression and one which carries great importance for Kurds” and “a tool for emancipation and self-expression”, according to the event’s official website.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 12th edition of the event is being held online since April 16 and it is to wrap up on April 27.
