‘Lenz’ received the Best Editing award at the 7th CinéStudent Film Festival, the Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported Tuesday.
The film’s editor is Shervin Sagharchiyan.
Written and directed by Amir Hossein Tabbat, the film is about a man who intends to commit suicide, but a video camera and photography change his fate.
The CinéStudent Film Festival is an annual film festival dedicated to “honoring the creativity of student filmmakers in digital media and providing them with the means and substance to pursue a career in film”, the event’s website reads.
It features submissions in any category of video production, including narrative films, documentaries, and animations.
The 7th edition of CinéStudent Film Festival took place on April 23 and the winners were announced on April 24.
