Directed by Mohammad Ahangar, the 14-minute short film will be among the competition titles of the American film event’s 21st edition.
No details on the plot summary of the flick have been disclosed to the media for the film that has Azadeh Seifi, Farid Qobadi, Kaveh Ahangar and Pedram Jame’-Bozorg as its cast members.
‘Today is Friday’ has already taken part in a number of global events, including the MIKROFAF Film Festival in Serbia, the Canberra Short Film Festival in Australia and the Santa Fe Film Festival in the US.
The DCFF aims to inspire, promote and celebrate creativity by hosting and showcasing films from around the world.
The 2021 edition of the festival is slated for June 10-20.
