Seyed Mosque in Iran’s Isfahan: Photos

Seyed Mosque is one of the biggest mosques in Iran’s province of Isfahan. It dates back to the Qajar era.                          

The mosque is named after its founder, Seyyed Mohammad Bagher Shafti.

It was built in Bid Abad in Isfahan about two centuries ago.

The mosque is famous for its decorations and its numerous architectural features which are clearly visible in its domes and mihrab (altars), among others.
