Iran releases trilingual music video on Palestine

On the occasion of the International Quds Day, Iran has released a new music video themed on Palestine in three languages.

The music video, produced by Media Culture House in collaboration with Iran Cultural attaché office in Syria, features three vocalists singing in Persian, Arabic and English.

 In this trilingual song titled, “Quds, my heartbeat", Israel’s oppression against the Palestinian people and the enmity of the Zionist regime are expressed in an artistic way.

Amir Hossein Samiei is the composer and singer of the Persian section with Abdolreza Hedayati and Wahhab Arabi being the singer of the Arabic and English sections, respectively.

The Persian lyrics of the song read;

You are the reservoir of the earth as Miʿrāj (ascension) bears witness
You are the last battle and last victory
You are one of four important mosques, O Quds, you are the beginning and the end
My dreams will live on because of Quds, my heartbeat.

Muslims and freedom-lovers from around the world commemorate the International Quds Day every year. The late founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini, designated the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as the International Quds Day in order to open a new chapter in standing up for the Palestinian cause across the globe.

The International Quds Day falls on Friday this year. Muslim and freedom-seeking nations hold rituals and events in solidarity with the Palestinian nation.
