Iranian short film ‘Warehouse’ is set to compete at the first edition of Travok Art and Culture Festival in Turkey.
Directed by Hossein Torkjoush, the film revolves around an incident, which occurred in a waste paper warehouse and made all workers get suspicious of each other.
‘Warehouse’ brought Hamoun Seyyedi the Best Actor of Short Film award at the Gralha International Monthly Film Awards in Brazil last December.
Besides Seyyedi, the cast members of the film include Ali Yaqoubi, Mohammad-Reza Helalzadeh, Odin Roshan, Fazel Qannadi, Ali Pilehvar, Shiva Sarmast, Vahideh Akbari-Nasab, Morteza Hosseini-Rad, Vahid Baqeri, and Hamed Korivand.
Travok Art and Culture Festival is held in honor of Professor Iraj Etesam, also known as the father of contemporary Iranian architecture.
The event’s sections include film, photography, and caricature. It is themed on home and family, and migration and travel.
Iranian actress Fatemeh Motamed-Arya will head the jury for the festival’s Film section.
