The movie, directed by Soheyl Movaffaq and produced by Iraj Mohammadi, tells the story of some kids who are determined to save a chocolate factory.
“Everything starts with a box of chocolate… That means I was a kid… When you are a kid, chocolate is the most adorable taste in the world,” a brief synopsis of the movie reads.
The most notable on the cast list of the movie are Shohreh Lorestani, Shabnam Moqaddami, Ali Masoudi, Nasser Hashemi, Mohammad-Reza Hedayati, Arjang Amir-Fazli, and the late Daryoush Asadzadeh, along with some child actors.
It has gone on screen at some global events, including the Iranian Film Festival - San Francisco in the US and some international Children’s Film Festival in Bangladesh, Iran, Canada, and India.
‘Chocolate’, made in 2016, is scheduled to go on air at 22:00 GMT (03:30 Tehran time).
iFilm English TV will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00 (all GMT times).
