Ethnic minorities in Iran are a big part of Iranian culture and identity. The rhythmic body movements performed as rituals in happy occasions have their own glamour for the viewers.
The dance types among ethnic minorities include complicated routines known as chain or line performances with traditional attire and handkerchiefs. Such rhythmic presentations are common in Kurdistan, Lorestan and Tabriz as well as West and East Azarbaijan provinces.
Iranian people in these regions put on display different performing styles including the one in a circle shape as well as Dasmaal Baazi (handkerchief rhythmic presentation).
In the video attached, you can get a feeling of Kurdish chain performances in Iran.
