The Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported that Hazhir Asadi’s film will be screened at the 15th edition of Italian event.
‘The Rotation’ is about two tribes who are engaged in a war due to a dispute over the possession of the sun in the sky.
The war led to the destruction of the sun and the eruption of a volcano.
The lava left members of the two tribes dead and formed a new sun.
“Several centuries pass and the humans are still in a war to claim the sun in the sky,” a synopsis for the film reads.
The 15th edition of the River Film Festival will take place on July 1-25.
“As always, the festival will be four intense, extraordinary, weeks in which we encounter stories, techniques and people that are all very different, but are united by the idea that Cinema can offer a spectacular wide-open window on multiculturality through images from all over the world,” the event’s website reads.
