Peach picking in Iran’s Golestan

The Iranian province of Golestan, which is known for its diverse climate, is the largest peach producer in the country.

According to officials within the Organization of Agriculture Jihad, Golestan is suitable for cultivating all types of orchards due to its diverse climate.

As 6,600 hectares of peaches are grown in the orchards of Golestan, the province has become the largest peach producer in the country.

The peach picking season begins in mid-spring and lasts until late summer.
