The art of weaving Giveh, which is a lightweight and breathable footwear native to Iran, is still thriving in the Iranian province of Zanjan.
Today, many enthusiastic young men and women in the province are involved in this profession, creating stunning designs on Giveh which are second to none in the footwear market in the world.
Giveh is usually made from carpet yarn, leather, and other raw materials so that it lets the air circulate from its tiny pores.
