Rudkhan Castle is one of the tourist attractions of Fuman County in Iran’s northern province of Gilan.

Rudkhan Castle is one of the important historical fortresses in Iran. It is located about 700 meters above the sea level.

The citadel is made of bricks and stones, and has an area of 2.6 hectares.

The castle dates back to the Sassanid era (224-651 AD). It was rebuilt during the Seljuk era (1037–1194).

The best time to visit Rudkhan Castle is spring and summer.
