Baran Kosari performs AD of ‘Kramer vs. Kramer’

Iranian actress Baran Kosari has performed the Persian audio description of American legal drama film ‘Kramer vs. Kramer’ for blind and visually impaired audiences.

Audio description is a form of narration that plays during pauses in a film's dialogue, translating visual imageries and actions on the screen into spoken words.

“Ted Kramer's wife leaves him, allowing for a lost bond to be rediscovered between Ted and his son, Billy. But a heated custody battle ensues over the divorced couple's son, deepening the wounds left by the separation,” a synopsis for Robert Benton’s film reads.

Sevina Radio broadcast the audio-described version of ‘Where is the Friend's Home?’ on Thursday.

It will be available on the website of Sevina Group (Cinema for Visually Impaired).

Every month, Sevina releases an audio-described version of two classic movies.

Kosari, 35, made her film debut with ‘The World's Best Dad’ in 1991.

She has appeared in TV series such as ‘Let the Sun Rise’ and ‘The Spiritualists’, which was broadcast by iFilm English TV channel.

Kosari has also taken part in various movies, including ‘Blue Scarf’, ‘Dancing in the Dust’, ‘The Third Day’, and ‘Nothing’.
