Harvesting onion in Isfahan

Have you ever seen an onion farm in person? Farmers in the Iranian province of Isfahan are harvesting onion.

Onion is one of the widely-used vegetables in Iranian cuisine. A vast area of lands in the city of Felaverjan located in the province of Isfahan is planted with the vegetable.

Harvesting onion began in late June and will continue until late September.
