Iran’s Antelopes Plain in photos

Get to see Sehrin Plain, also referred to as Antelopes Plain, in Iranian province of Zanjan.

The plain, located in north of Zanjan Province, is a part of Sorkhabad Protected Area, a safe haven for the region’s antelopes.

In fact, the region is the natural habitat of a special type of antelopes that are known as Gazella Subgutturosa or Goitered Gazelles.

The plain is so generous that not only gives home to the beautiful animals, but also provides residence for the locals who live in 28 villages located in the region.

Sehrin, Armaghankhaneh, Meshkin, Valiyaran and Qareh Tappeh are some of the villages.
