US fest awards Iran’s short

The Brooklyn Film Festival (BFF) in the US has granted an award to Iranian short film ‘The Tank’.

Mojtaba Pour-Abdullah’s short film has grabbed the Short Narrative Spirit Award at the 24th edition of the American film fest.

‘The Tank’ is the story of two boys whose secret hobby is to swim in the water tank on the roof of their building. Abolfazl and Massoud donot give up on their pastime fun till they confront Mohammad, another boy of the building.

The Brooklyn Film Festival (BFF) is an international, competitive festival. The BFF's mission is to provide a public forum in Brooklyn in order to advance public interest in films and the independent production of films.

The 24th edition of the event was held online due to the coronavirus pandemic on June 4-13, 2021.
