The award-winning Iranian director is a judge at the 29th edition of the Portuguese film event.
Born in 1983, Samadi is a young Iranian short film director who has so far made a number of successful works such as ‘Gaze’, ‘The Silence’, ‘Disappearance’ and ‘More than Two Hours’.
In year 2018, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (Oscars) appointed Samadi as a member.
Samadi has already been on jury board of a number of global events including, the Linz Int’l Film Festival in Austria and the Tirana Int’l Film Festival in Albania.
This year’s edition of the Curtas Vila do Conde International Film Festival was kicked off on July 16 and is set to run through to July 25.
