Quri Qal'eh Cave: A door to the unknown

Nestled in Kermanshah Province in western Iran, Quri Qal'eh Cave with a history of 65 million years dates back to the second period of geology.  

In 1976, a group of English geologists discovered the Quri Qal'eh Cave, and since then geological studies began on the cave.

With a temperature between 7 to 11 degrees Celsius, this cave is home to various geological chandeliers and phenomena as well as a rare species of bat called the Mouse-eared bats and the yellow salamander.

Quri Qal'eh Cave is one of the most beautiful sights and tourist attractions in Ravansar city of Kermanshah Province and is a destination for tourists, especially in summer.
