National Botanical Garden of Iran, a place to enjoy world plant species

National Botanical Garden of Iran with an area of ​​145 hectares is located on the southern slope of Alborz mountain in northwest of Tehran.

This garden, which is one of the largest botanical gardens in the world, has a semi-arid climate and its average annual rainfall is about 240 mm.

In this garden, the most beautiful sites of the world such as the Himalayas, the Chinese Bridge, the Caspian Sea, etc. are simulated.

In the National Botanical garden of Iran, there are 64 species of trees and plants from Hyrcanian climate, also 240 plant species from Alborz climate, 42 wood species and 30 grass species from Zagros climate and 23 plant communities and about 40 plant species from desert climate of Iran.

China, Japan, the Himalayas, the Caucasus, Siberia, the United States, and the European Gardens are some of the international climates of this garden.
