‘Sky Sun, Tile Sun’ vying in Albania

Iranian animation ‘Sky Sun, Tile Sun’ has been vying at the 12th edition of the Anifest Rozafa, the international film festival for children and young people, in Albania.

Directed by Ziba Arzhang, the 6-minute film is about a city painted on a tile that undergoes intense explosion and bombardment.

Due to the incident, the sun breaks into many pieces and the city gets dark. But the people build a new sun together.

The short animation participated in some global events, including the Sonoma International Film Festival in the US and the London Kurdish Film Festival in the UK.

The Anifest Rozafa hosts films that target children and adolescents. It aims to increase the love of film and cinema in Albania and also provide a space for filmmakers to showcase their works.

The event started on August 9 and will last until August 13.
