The first ten days of the month of Muharram are the time for the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS), the third Shia Imam and the grandson of Prophet Muhammad [PBUH], as well as his loyal companions in the Battle of Karbala.
Different cities of Iran are hosting crowds of people who come together to mourn the massacre of Karbala.
