Iranian general physician has composed traditional music mixed with a patient’s heartbeat sound.
The sound of a human heartbeat is a real epic and its incorporation into a music piece played by traditional musical instruments is an amazing innovation by doctor Shayan Shekar-Abi who is a music composer and pianist as well.

He said to the media of his innovative tracks, "In making and arranging these pieces, I have mixed with traditional Iranian music the recorded heartbeat sounds of patients with heart disease. In these works, I have tried to use Iranian indigenous melodies and instruments and combine this music with Western standard instruments. This idea can be an educational aid for medical and nursing students to learn heart sounds in different situations."
