Iranian movie ‘Wishbone’, directed by Ali Atshani, is set to go on screen at Jagran Film Festival in India.
In its 9th international participation, the movie will be in the competition section of the festival’s 2017 edition.
‘Wishbone’ has joined different international festivals, winning Best Director and Best Film awards.
‘Wishbone’ synopsis reads, Damoun is a former coach at one of the popular Iranian soccer clubs who meets a girl he knew in the past.
The film’s cast includes Mitra Hajjar, Hossein Yari, Mahchehreh Khalili, Azadeh Mehdizadeh, Bita Atshani, Mazyar Fallahi and Khashayar Rad, among others.
Jagran Film Festival (JFF) is an initiative towards creating a culture of cinema appreciation and an honest and sincere attempt to create a platform that connects great content with audiences across the country.
Organized at New Delhi’s Siri Fort Auditorium, the 8th edition of Jagran Film festival will be held on July 1-5, 2017.
