While there for the amazing delicacy, visitors would also want to see and rest a day at some temperate summer resort. Cheshmeh Ali will be the right place then.

Many years ago at the time of the ruling of Qajar dynasty in Iran, the resort was constructed; so, the rulers of the time could rest and spend cooler days there.

As visible in the photos below, a unique characteristic of the building is that its stone-made foundation is actually located in the water.

The place has its name from the spring that supplies the water of the resort and the Damghan plain.

It is said that the real name of the place was Elli Belagh (Turkish for 50 springs), indicating that there have been several big and small springs of water.
