Aqua exhibit honors Iran photographers

The 3rd Aqua International Salon of Photography in Tajikistan has awarded several Iranian photographers in different categories.

Mehdi Kazemi-Boumeh received FPC Trophy in the open color section for ‘Gear’ and Mohammad-Reza Masoumi won the same award for ‘Stop Motion’ in the people section.

Kazemi-Boumeh won the FIAP Ribbon for ‘Chicken’ and honorable mentions of the same category went to ‘Ashura’ by Hadi Dehqanpour and ‘Moloud’ by    Mohammad Esteki.

Seyyed-Ali Dormiani-Bozorg was awarded a FIAP Ribbon in the landscape section for ‘Blue Dawn’ and Esteki’s ‘Move’ received FPC Trophy in the same section. Masoumi’s ‘Full Color’ (the photo above) and Mehdi Parsaeean’s ‘Nature Painting’ were given honorable mentions in the landscape section.

FPC Trophy in the open monochrome went to Esteki’s ‘Elina Eyes’ and honorable mentions of the same section were presented to ‘Non-Stop’ by Parsaeean, ‘Miners’ by Marjan Taqipour-Fahandari, and ‘Freedom’ by Ensieh Abdollahimehr received.

Honorable mentions of the travel category were given to ‘My House’ by Dormiani-Bozorg, ‘Amir Chakhmaq Square’ by Kazemi-Boumeh and ‘Sar-e Aqa Seyyed’ by Amir Kianersi.

In the water section, Dehqanpour received an honorable mention for ‘Thirsty’.

Organized annually by the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) and the Focus Photo Club, Iran’s branch of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), water is the central theme of the exhibition.
