‘Daily Massacre in Tehran’ to vie in Greece

Iranian short flick ‘Daily Massacre in Tehran’ is slated to vie at the Drama International Short Film Festival in Greece.

Hessam Hamidi’s latest directorial experience will vie at the main competition section of the event.

A synopsis for the short film reads “Foad is a 12-year-old boy who comes to Tehran to make money and support his mother. He is willing and ready to take on any paying job, but each job brings with it a set of new challenges”.

The cast list of the film includes Hamid-Reza Karami, Mehran Atashzaee, Rouzbeh Sinaki, and Mehrnoush Salimi.

The Drama International Short Film Festival aims to promote the art of cinema, and especially of the short film, in Greece and abroad.

Established in 1978, the event is the most important international short film festival in the country and is held every year in Drama.
