Iranian actress reacts to children paintings

Well-known Iran actress Fatemeh Goudarzi expresses her happiness over Iranian children’s awards at Japan’s painting competition.

The actress wrote on her social media page, "Among all the disturbing news, this news (Children’s awards) was very delightful. I wish for a more colorful tomorrow for the people of the planet.”

In September, Iranian children won some of the main prizes at the 21st JQA International Environmental Children’s Drawing Contest in Japan.

Eleven-year-old Mohammad-Mani Rabiei received a JQA special prize, while seven-year-old Panisa Momtazian was honored with the special jury prize and Maedeh Taheri with the First Prize. 

Mohammad Hassani, Nirvana Rustai, Nilufar Afshari and Elaheh Sotudeh also received honorary diplomas.

Iranian actress Goudarzi’s TV series include ‘Rana’ (1988-1991), ‘Apartment’ (1993), 'Parent Problems' (2001), ‘A Mother’s Song’ (2008), and 'Worlds Apart' (2010).

Her most famous movies are ‘Tankers’ War’ (1993), 'I Want to Stay Alive' (1994), 'Rival of the Heart' (1996), 'The Victorious Warrior' (1998), ‘Telephone’ (1999), 'Marriage Iranian Style’ (2004), ‘Pink Wedding’ (2004), 'Empty Hands' (2006), 'Mah Monir' (2008), and 'What Men don't Know About Women' (2013).
