Directed by Soroush Hosseinjani, the 20-minute film is about a 16-year-old teenager who risks his life “to save his mother to maintain his family status and escape from poverty. Nevertheless, he walks into a dangerous game and has no other choice but to fight it”, a synopsis for the film reads.

The film’s cast members include Vahid Nikrad, Hamid Mahindoust, Masoud Baharloo, Leila Boushehri, Mahyar Rahat-Talab, Kambiz Banan, Hafez Esmi-Khani and Zahra Namvar.

The flick has previously participated at the Iranian Film Festival-San Francisco (IFF-San Francisco) in the US.

Lunched in 20119 with the theme of martial arts and action genres, CIMAFF hosts films from around the world.

The event will be held on October 21-25.
